Our Story
We are Cork’s first ever independent browbar. iBrow was opened in 2014 by brow enthusiast Rachel Curran. Our salon has an amazing vibe & is nestled between some beautiful independently owned businesses on Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork City. We pride ourselves in our expertise and passion for providing an unforgettable client experience. We are a team of fun loving, hard working women who admire and respect each other and have built an amazing culture to go with it.

Our Team
Rachel
Rachel started her career in brows over 14 years ago working for American spa company Bliss and the Benefit Brow bar, before opening iBrow in 2014.
“I’ve had a passion for brows since a very young age, I’ve always loved making people feel good when they sit in the chair with me. My focus has now shifted to supporting my team and growing our company so our standards are continually raised.
Fun fact: In another life I would have loved to be a composer for film music, I absolutely love classical music and am obsessed with visiting Italy and eating Italian food.”
Gemma
Gemma began her career with iBrow in 2015 after studying with Susan Ryan and completing her Beauty Diploma. Her seven years of brow experience makes her one of our most senior brow experts.
“I feel at home in iBrow. My favourite brow service is either Hybrid Tinting or Henna as I love giving even the most sparse of brows the definition they deserve.
Fun fact: I’m a big GAA fan and love going to gigs, but my biggest love is for my golden retriever Quipps.”
Abby
Abby began her iBrow Career in 2016. She is also a fully qualified Beauty Therapist but decided she wanted to specialise in Brows and that’s what bought her to iBrow.
“I’m quite an OCD kinda person which is a real benefit to my clients as I can’t leave a hair out of place. I also specialise in dermaplaning which I absolutely love. I take pride in my job and have committed to keeping our salon as sustainable as possible.
Fun fact: some people may not know this but I also have a degree in Singing and Dancing.”
Kasey
Kasey began her career at iBrow in 2019 and has fast tracked her way to becoming such an amazing brow expert in such a short space of time.
“I specialise in Brow Corrections and absolutely adore helping my clients reach their brow goals. I’m obsessed with all things fashion and I love to shop, which is why working in the city is both wonderful and dangerous.”
Leah
Leah started with us in February 2021. Leah just finished her Beauty Therapy course. Leah never worked in the salon environment and she was eager to learn all about brows, customer service and the iBrow customer journey

Stephanie
Stephanie started with us in October 2022. She originally worked in MAC cosmetics and Charlotte Tilbury but she wanted to follow her passion for Beauty and qualified in Brows and Lash lifts.
” My favourite treatment is dermaplane in iBrow. I recently trained in it and I love seeing clients fall in love with their glowing skin! My favourite product – Dark Dahlia Brow Pencil. Its the perfect shade for most of our clients”
Molly
Molly joined the iBrow team in October 2022. She is fully qualified in Brows, Lash Lifts and Dermaplane. Molly previously worked for Charlotte Tilbury for 5 years and is very passionate about makeup.
“My favourite treatment is a Lash Lift! I love seeing people’s reactions when they see the results of their brows and lashes. I love our brow setter- perfect for a natural brow and to keep your brow hairs in place.”
Jill
Jill Started with iBrow in early 2022. After qualifying as a Beauty Therapist in Corks College of Commerce. Jill has upskilled in eyebrows and dermaplane since starting in iBrow.
” I love iBrow’s Signature shape and tint. I love meeting a first time client. Figuring out what they want to achieve and how they can achieve it by starting their brow journey with us”
Jessica
Jessica started her career at iBrow in 2017 working as a Salon coordinator at the front of house. She previously studied Beauty Therapy and worked for Mac and Clarins. She had an all round love for the beauty industry but wanted to further her skill set.
“Whilst working at iBrow I studied business and payroll and took on a management role which then transpired into my new role as Operations Manager. My goal is to make sure iBrow runs as best as it possibly can, whilst supporting the team and their individual goals
Fun Fact : I love going on holidays. You’ll always see me looking up flights to somewhere!”
Erika
Erika previously worked with iBrow as a Brow Expert. She followed her dreams of traveling and returned in 2022.
Erika always loved the environment in iBrow and was happy to be able to return and further her career in Management.
Sarah
Sarah started with us in the summer of 2022.
She previously worked in the food industry as front of house. She loves to greet and chat with our clients at the desk.
Sarah is also studying Law. Her Favourite treatment is Bronsun Tint & Shape.
